Adventure business Zip World has launched into the Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in the UK, they have vowed to continue on their mission to turn North Wales into the adventure capital of Europe.
Their huge success has boosted the tourism offer in North Wales and now sees the business appear at number 46 in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100.
Zip World, who run attractions in North Wales, include the world’s fastest zip line, huge trampolines buried inside North Wales mountains and underground caves, a forest rollercoaster, and has also seen a big boost of employment in the area.
Zip World now has reached a £30m turnover, with millions of pounds of extra cash re-invested back into the business to ensure they continue to grow.
This year more than 340,000 people have visited their attractions.
This year sees further expansion for Zip World, in recent months the Fforest Coaster opened at Betws-y-Coed and the Adventure Terminal at the Penrhyn Quarry site in Bethesda. There are also plans for a hotel in Llanrwst.
