Rhyl Air Show is back for 2018 on Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th August.
The 2 day free event takes place annually on Rhyl Promenade, with ground displays located on Rhyl Events Arena.
Each year the event brings hundreds of thousands of people upon Rhyl, for an exciting day out for families and enthusiasts!
This year Rhyl Air Show celebrates its 10th year, along with commemorating RAF100 and will be supporting Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal for 2018.
RAF Red Arrows are now confirmed to be displaying at this year’s Rhyl Air Show 2018.
The Bristol Blenheim will be closing proceedings on Saturday, with The RAF Red Arrows bringing Rhyl Air Show 2018 to a close on Sunday.
Other confirmed air displays include the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight featuring a Spitfire, Hurricane and Dakota, Team Raven Formation Aerobatic Display Team, Red Devils Parachute Display Team, Team Raven Formation Aerobatic Display Team and a Strikemaster Jet.
Splash Radio will be broadcasting live from the event with a special LIVE uninterrupted feed of the commentary.

Getting to Rhyl Air Show
Park & Ride
You can join the Park and ride from:
Ffrith Beach Festival Gardens, Prestayn
Ysgol Glan Clwyd, St Asaph
The cost is £5 to park all day with a regular shuttle bus taking you directly to the event.
Leave the A55 at J27 (St Asaph, The Roe). Take the exit onto A525 heading towards Rhuddlan / Rhyl.
At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit over the fly over. Continue on A525, taking the first exit at the roundabout towards Rhyl. Follow A525 to Rhyl,
When at the Kinmel Street junction, follow the one way system around past Argos and onto the promenade. Turn right onto Promenade towards Rhyl Events Arena

The main North Wales Coast bus route is the number 12, this bus terminates at Rhyl Bus Station, directly outside Rhyl Train Station. The number 12 takes you on a route along the coast to Llandudno.
From Rhyl Bus Station & Train Station, follow the high street up onto the promenade.
Please note, due to the amount of people in the area it may be wise to park further away than normal. This will allow you to get home much quicker, traffic restrictions will be in place but you are still likely to experience delays.
There are a number of official council operated car parks in the area these are:
Morfa Hall Car Park – Morfa Hall, Church St, Rhyl LL18 3AH
Promenade Car Park (Next to Pro Kitesurfing) – East Parade, Rhyl LL18 3AQ
Rhyl Pavilion Theatre Car Park – East Parade, Rhyl LL18 3AR
Sky Tower Car Park – West Parade, Rhyl LL18 1HF
West Rhyl Car Park (Near blue bridge) – West Parade, LL18 5BD
On road parking along the promenade is limited to allow for emergency service access. However should you find a space, this is pay and display. Please ensure you have a valid ticket covering you for the time you are there.
