Splash Radio are big supporters of Mental Health charities, advice services and help organisations and this week between 15th & 18th May is Mental Health Awareness Week.
So, all this week we are promoting all news, information and support relating to any kind of Mental Health issues.
Hafal, a Welsh mental health charity, which supports those affected by serious mental illness in Wales is looking for volunteers to join the Appropriate Adult scheme.
The scheme has been set up to offer support to vunerable adults who have found themselves detained in Police Custody.
The role is to offer impartial support and a friendly face in the absense of a family member or carer, to people who may need help while feeling frightened and confused in an unfamiliar situation.
Volunteer positions are currently available at custody suites in Wrexham, Llay, St Asaph & Caernarfon Police stations.
If you woud like further information on the roles available, or would like to request an application form please contact Cathy Snell firstname.lastname@example.org or on 01792 816600.
